To ensure the effective utilization of our resources and to provide optimal care to all our patients, we have established the following cancellation and no-show policy.
- Appointment Cancellation:
Patients are kindly requested to provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to accommodate other patients in need of medical attention during the allocated time slot. Appointments can be canceled by calling our office at 850-252-6161 or you may reach out via text on the number of your appointment confirmation.
- No-Show Policy:
A “no-show” is defined as a patient who misses an appointment without canceling or providing sufficient notice. Patients who fail to attend their scheduled appointments without notification may be subject to a no-show fee.
- CancellationFees:
Patients who do not provide the required 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without notification may be charged a cancellation fee. The fee amount is based on the appointment time blocked for your appointment type and it is intended to cover the cost of resources allocated for the appointment.
30 minute appointment $25
30-60 minutes appointment $40
60+ minutes appointment $50
- Exceptions:
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may arise. In such cases, we encourage patients to communicate with our office as soon as possible. Exceptions to the cancellation fee may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Notification Methods:
Patients can cancel or reschedule appointments by calling our office at 850-252-6161 during regular business hours or via text message to the number of your appointment confirmation message.
- Reminders:
To assist patients in remembering their appointments, we provide appointment reminders via phone, email, or text message. However, the responsibility for attending and canceling appointments rests with the patient.
- Repeated No-Shows:
Patients with a pattern of repeated no-shows may be subject to additional measures, including the requirement of prepayment for future appointments or, in severe cases, discharge from the practice.
